Now what was he really lobbying for in order to have strong influence over
100+ congressmen? No not a Casino, that maybe effects a handful of states
reps.. What was his bargaining chip against the rest? Campaign funds? Votes
for reelection? The golf trips and sports games are sutle tactics just to
establish communication and a start to a mutually beneficial relationship.
My question is, who lobbies and how much influence do multinational corp.'s
and org.'s have? If this Casino was so capable!

looking at his house it really shows how broke he is. He went to a medium
security prison? It sounds like he was a fall guy.

3 and a half years in jail for making 20 million in a year ILLEGALLY. I can
go to jail for the same amount of time for having a pot plant in my house
and probably another 3 years of probation. fml

This is one of many bad apples- the difference between him and many of the
others is he got caught. The Senate and Congress have blocked President
Obama's earlier bid to end lobby influence. The most of our political
system is corrupt. We should stay out of other countries business until we
clean up our own. I hope our leaders can cure themselves before it is too

Wasn't San Diego congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham also caught up in the
Abramoff scandal? The Duke went to jail over taking bribes and corruption

Jack Abramoff took guys to football games, gave jobs to former Hill
staffers, inserted arcane language into bills, and bilked some Indian
casinos which derive the majority of their profits from bilking ignorant
pensioners. Then he was publicly vilified, ruined financially, and sent to
George Bush took us into an unnecessary war and made decisions which killed
thousands of U.S. troops and Iraqis. Then he was re-elected.
What a beautiful freaking system!
The GOP party STILL mirrors the paradigms of Tom DeLay and Jack Abramoff.
They should change their name to the "Abramofficans". Newt Gingrich said a
Congressman (indeed Congress) could be bought/rented for $350,000 a year
(actually it's $500,000 now). That is what the GOP is; the party of
deregulation of business and the market. K Street DC will not be going
anywhere anytime soon. Thanks to ppl like Jack.

Washington is fine, nothing to see here.

This is a very good video. It also shows that this corruption is still
going on in washington. amazing.
