there are shorter routes than that :) British Airways fly there 777-200 to many of the former British Islands in the Caribbean including mines and St Martin is just 30 minutes away :)

St Martin is a little island in the Caribbean, it is close by other islands in the region, this is where you find the famous Princess Juliana Int Airport :)

Yep, Air France has a mini carribbean operation to connect all the different French Islands with Miami and any other international airport that has service to France, and its an A320 BTW
