No it's not every anime opening ever, it's just a title. Music: Ayu's Euro Mega-Mix [Y & Co. Mix] by Ayumi Hamasaki http://www.twitter.com/derek_l... http://www.animemusicvideos.or... It's always amused me the repeated imagery that exist in anime opening credit sequences. This video doesn't cover them all, but it has a lot of the big ones. Interesting thing I learned, if a character is running it's overwhelmingly to the left of the screen. I first started thinking about this years ago when I saw the X-Men intro that they made in Japan to replace the American one. The part that especially hit home was Wolverine, and Cyclops standing on some nondescript land mass. For this I used only textless credits I found on Youtube (with the exception of Evangelion). So if your favorite anime isn't in here either there was no textless version, the clip quality was bad, or it had a pretty unique opening sequence. Here's the complete list of what anime made it into this. 009-1 Ah! Let's recap: pan upwards sunlight through fast moving trees or stuff. zoom into eye. RUNNING back/profile-to-front/profile half turn/full turn artistic nudity. being contemplative, mellow expression, winds blowing group shot, everybody get in the frame please. sword clash in the middle of screen, face-off. artistic shaky-cam. edgy. WALKING artistic silhouette, artistic...up-down, left-right thing. FLYING zoom into face. crying sparkly zero-gravity tears. orb of light, preferably small enough to hold in hand. "feeling down? here, let me help you pick yourself up" DOVES (damnit, John Woo) back-to-back Whew! Did I forget anything?

See, This is why I don't like most anime openings. Because most of them are so unoriginal, Not just with the visuals but with the music as well. Man, It's not that hard to come up with something new. Shit I'll do it right now. A boy is flying on a giant robotic flying fucking boulder, YES A BOULDER, towards a castle with the suns horizon while eating a burrito. The Boulder is shitting bricks, YES BRICKS, too the beat of a futuristic techno theme with hints of spanish salsa. There see, I made an original opening! Was that so hard?

Pretty accurate summary. There are obviously the openings that don't fit into those categories but overall this covers most anime openings ^^

I want a sequel to this eventually. Another super cut of all these wonderful anime cliche's. Please do it.
