I will make note of that. I like music a great deal. Might I in turn
reccomend "Please Kill Me" by Legs McNeil and Gillian McCain. Quite
possibly the best book written on the subject of 1970's era punk rock in
existance. Not a great source for the london stuff or anything post 1979,
but essential for everything that came before. If you aren't already
familliar with it of course...

Verlaine uses a Jazzmaster or Jaguar with really heavy strings, which has
something to do with it - Lloyd almost always uses a Strat. In the late 70s
they used Deluxe Reverbs exclusively but this is an early 90s recording. My
favourite bit is Lloyd's bit of insane guitar-strangling from 3:06-3:22 or
