Ford has been and always will be complete shit to the Ram, the ONLY engine better than the Cummins is the Caterpillar. I'd still rather be Cummin than Strokin, atleast the job got done, hahahaha

Ford did buy shares from Cummins a number of years ago to help them out or something. But Ford did sell them off. An I6 diesel such as a cummins does have a better torque curve than a V8 generally being much better at lower RPMs.

I think both trucks would fair well if they were not made like crap! Ford just uses junk, suspensions always fall apart, electrical issues, the choke stroke is unreliable. The Dodge, they have all the same problems except that Cummins is a bad ass engine!

Honestly... I REALLY like the 6.7. The low end is so rewarding. In fact I love the whole 4th gen drivetrain. The 68RFE is wonderful. What I hate is the aftertreatment. It robs power and MPG BAD! I prefer the new Duramaxs to the 6.7 Cummins/Powerstroke by far. People give GM hell about IFS... Last time I checked a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel isn't the best wheelin truck anyway lol. SAS it if it's gonna see THAT much dirt. I do think that SFAs are better, but the IFS is fine for a diesel's true purpose!

I won't lie I don't like the 6.7 but also realize it's our government messing them all up with the emissions b.s. Their all going to go thew hell thanks to all the guys blowing out black smoke, I was one. To be honest nobody can judge a car/truck from car&driver or motortrend they have been ford/chevy biased for, since they started. My only down fall on gm is i f s for 4x4 and their heavily invested in china now. Haven't heard much bad on the d max.

I'm pulling the pin and buying a F450 because it's cool, different and will pull my big toy hauler.Hope the 6.7 is better than past Powerstrokes.
