The US census USED to inlude Latino/Hispanic as a RACE....not anymore, that was changed about 30 years ago. But that is where the confusion comes into play with Americans. Latino IS indeed an ETHNICITY. Race is the color of your skin, ethnicity is the root of your origins. So for example, there are people who are white latino, there are people who are black latino. Christina would be considered a black latina.

Christina Milian's parents are both full-blown CUBAN. Latino is not a race, it's an ethnicity. Thus her ethnicity (like a large part of AFROLATIN@S and SPANISH-SPEAKING CARIBBEANS) is Latina and her race is Black. Like anyone from a POST-COLONIAL nation, she's certainly mixed with European (considering her birth name is Christina Flores). Educate yourselves and decolonize your minds.
