i have already defragged my hard drive but even though i have 108 gb free, it will only let me create a partition with 3 gb max. what do i do?

some one pls help me i have a hp pavillion dv6..750gb hard diski have only one dive now that is C..i have a free space of 630gb...but when i press shrink volume it is showing only ur available shrink volume is 352435mb which is abot 360 gb that's why is it hAppening like that would plzzz help me plzzz

Works for me! Thank you. Do you recommend backing up your data in partitions? I was told that making a partition would keep the data i put there safe and intact if the system crashes.
