El Caminito del Rey - the King's Way. Even the most steadfast will likely
delvelop vertigo walking along this trail.
It is a meandering walkway built into the face of the rock high above a
winding river between two power dams in Spain. The construction took place
a little over 100 yeas ago, and the path is now deteriorating and falling
Thank you, +Jason Blalock for this particular nightmare. :)

*The World's Scariest Pathway - El Caminito Del Rey*
If you have the *nerve* to walk this trail, you can hike anything. Located
near Álora in the province of Málaga, Spain, the 'King's little pathway'
was built into the sheer walls of a narrow gorge back in 1905. It was
intended as a maintenance route for hydroelectric workers but has since
fallen into serious disrepair. The path was closed to the public after
hiker fatalities in 1999 & 2000. Its renovation should be complete by
2014...hopefully with hand rails this time. GPS Coordinates:

I would love to walk it. I have heard they closed it, due to deaths. It
take pluck to walk it but spare a thought for the cunts who build it.
