This guy, along with ClickFlashWhirr (who has removed her videos/projects)
is the inspiration for mine. The concept of taking a photo every day isn't
a new one, there are different methods, such as focused eyes, some with
shoulders, some with changing backgrounds, others fixed :). I made my own
interpretation based off on another persons work :). My photo project is no
better or worse, it's just a different story told with my spin :).
I'm sure that someone else has made a project before this too, about four
years ago, I remember stumbling across a man who took a photo over a few
decades - I can't find it anywhere. A middle aged asian man :). In recent
years, I've discovered a few more popping up, though only one with a time
longer than 10 years apart from Noah. More and more people are starting
these, but few (that have posted) are longer than 5. It's going to be scary
in a decade to see more of these popping up across the web.
These projects are fantastic, terrifying, upsetting, daunting and haunting.
We see ourselves age, we see through the eyes exactly what life can do to
us, for better and for worse :(.
A big well done to Noah, especially now he's reached the decade mark and a
further thank you as one of my major inspirations <3. I felt I needed to
write here as I'm not sure if people are reading my video description. The
guy I mention? This is him <3.
