It is a Swedish name, only it's a nobility name, so it's been changed slightly, as many did back in like the 1600's, from Gyllenhall, to Gyllenhaal with the two a's. The family itself is from Älvsborg.

He might be half swede but I'm pretty sure Gyllenhaal isn't originally a swedish surname. Not only have I never heard of it in Sweden, the two a's isn't a swedish thing. Looks more like a dutch surname. And it sure ain't pronounced like anyone did in this video, at least not with a swedish accent.
