Back on 2003, my dad got from the dealer two 2002 fuel injected bugs used by the VW plant employees (one for me, one for my brother). Today, those are still our every day cars. Today's VW cars might have technology, speed and "cheap luxury"; but nothing compares to the bug's engeneering, reliability and simplicity. My conclusion: I would never change my bug for any of those crappy cars.

That beetle doesn't speak for me. It looks like a mini cooper and porsche mix. I, as a bug fan, seriously can't stand Volkswagen people claming that this car represents the old bug. Are they really thinking we are that ignorant?? First of all, it's not the "people's car" (cheap to buy/maintain), it's not a family car, it has complicated mechanics, it's not air cooled and it wouldn't last more than 30 years in good shape unless you keep it in your garage.
