"...government-run educational system..." What is more, it is *compulsory*. And it is not actually education (the word means to bring out, or something like that). At best it is schooling; but more like training. That is another shared viewpoint. However, if we go a bit more "fine grained" we would probably diverge:The training that goes under the guise of education is aimed at what you would approve of: Work is the most important thing in life and who does not "work" should not eat.

Capitalism, as a whole is flawed. Bankers and corporations will ultimately dominate mankind, like now. But, you´ll be labeled a ´´conspiracy theorist´´ when you figure that out.

Typical Marxist, complains about the obvious everything to gain popularity and says he doesn't know the answers to avoid alienating people or taking criticism, doesn't even provide options, just wants to "debate them" and to "look for options" but never does because making a choice gets you enemies, incidentally also changes the world.

I said "...a share of the things produced by technology...". More precisely, a share---a social dividend---of the *economic benefits* resulting from technology and modern production methods. In more detail, imagine that we had only wind and water power today to assist economic activity.Instead of that, we have access to about 50,000 times more energy, as a society, than our ancestors did before the Industrial/scientific revolutions. Are you aware of the literature on this line of analysis?

Capitalism has no corruption. But at the same time there is a lot of irrational behavior and monopoly that occurs which makes employees get payed lower wages

"However, governance of a complex society can be funded by tapping streams of unearned income."?????????????????????????I'm almost afraid to ask, but could you explain unearned income?

More likely, if people have no talent to sell it is the fault of our government-run educational system. You say that people have a right to a share of technology? I dare you to walk up to someone and take their iPad. Then claim that you have more of a right to it than they do. You might want to take it from someone who is very frail or perhaps in a wheelchair. |
