And right before that event, a TU-104, Russian jet beauty airliner, lands in London. After just 3 days, another two same beauties lands in London. It's a sensation! British "Comet" doesn't fly. American first jet airliners are only under construction... And here are already three Russian planes! Queen herself was saying later that anytime she heard an unusual rumble of turbines, she was going out to balcony, in order to see this Russian miracle... It contains a lot of unique video footage. The documentary speaks about creation and development of fighters, bombers, helicopters, reconnaissance planes, hydro-planes, planes of civilian Aviation and also about sport and training Aviation, in the USSR and Russia.

it's a great series all together, it's refreshing to see things from the other side, we get so over loaded with imagery from the big brash boastful yanks, that it's nice to see it from the other side, does make you wonder thou, that if the soviets weren't so obsessed with trying to keep up with the US, and spunking all that money on an arms race, that perhaps their ideology might have had more of a chance to work.

Try out video download helper, it is an extension on firefox. It is free and a good software. I have literally downloaded countless youtube videos,a along with other flash video sites. All the best!!
