This is probably one of my all-time favourite songs. I first heard of Amy Grant when her version of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi" was receiving radio airplay here in the UK. I loved the song, and it not only introduced me to Amy's music, but also Joni's as well. She released another single after that, which I also bought. The B-side was "Baby Baby", which I instantly fell in love with, particularly the "No Getting Over You Mix", which was the radio version, and which, to my ear at least, had a much more polished and radio friendly sound than the album version. Please enjoy this version, which has not, as far as I am aware, been available on any of her albums.Lyrics:Baby, babyI'm taken with the notionTo love you with the sweetest of devotionBaby, babyMy tender love will flow fromThe bluest sky to the deepest oceanStop for a minuteBaby, I'm so glad you're mine, yeahYou're mine.Baby, babyThe stars are shining for youAnd just like me I'm sure that they adore youBaby, babyI go walking through the forestThe birds above are singing you a chorusStop for a minuteBaby, they're so glad you're mine, oh yeahAnd ever since the day you put my heart in motionBaby I realise that there's just no getting over you.Baby, babyIn any kind of weatherI'm here for you always and foreverBaby, babyNo muscle man could severMy love for you is true and it will neverStop for a minuteBaby, I'm so glad youre mineAnd ever since the day you put my heart in motionBaby I realise that there's just no getting over you.And ever since the day you put my heart in motionBaby I realise that there's just no getting over youOver you.Baby Baby, always and forever(Baby I'm so glad)(ad-libs)

I think Amy Grant is more open minded than most Christians.

I've been looking all over for this version. WLAP-FM (94.5) in Lexington and WYHY (107.5) in Nashville played it when it was new. Since then, everyone plays the original version as a recurrent until I heard it on WLTW 106.7 in New York the other day. Thanks for posting. Never thought I'd find it.
