University of Minnesota physics professor James Kakalios discusses how he was tapped to add a physics perspective to the upcoming Warner Brothers movie, Watchmen. Kakalios discusses how quantum mechanics can explain Dr. Manhattan's super human powers in the film, and how he came to become an expert on the topic of the physics of superheroes. Check out Kakalios book at www.physicsofsuperheroes.comVote for Jim! He's up for a Webby Award, which you can vote for here: http://www.youtube.com/webby?x...

That's pea shooting. Best power would be to control time and space/ worm holes/ portals. Oprn a portsl back 5 min or anytime really. Have energy go in well that energy wrnt to past then it met up eith older self again then those 2 go to future go in past and meet up again infintely till you create mor mass and energy thsn in universe. Then use that as an att as ck snd call it infinity big bang

I though the field they were talking about was the strong force. which holds all atoms together. If that came apart and his conciousness somehow remained then it could pull and control atoms around itself and make them in any form he chose. Basically a mind outside of matter and reality

I thought the higgs-boson field was an intrinsic field? Don't mind me if I sound stupid, I have no background in physics I'm just vaguely interested.

Now if you can explain how to manipulate the Gravimetric frequencies in order to create a gravimetric sigularity I'll be really impressed...

When am I going to use PHYSICS in real life? Physics is all about real life WTF, it's application is beyond their comprehension I guess
