pink floyd is the only band where i actually like every album, my least favorite would me more but it has a couple of songs that i'm just in love with like this one, favorite albums would be meddle or animals,and no not because of echoes, because of a pillow of winds... and echoes... and fearless pink floyd is far too underated, most people i've met don't even know darkside, only the wall... and not even the album only another brick in the wall... quite sad.

I really love that album, it seems that pink floyd themselfs regreat releasing it! Don't know why... I can listen to it over and over for hours... feels like a time machine

I think perhaps it was just to..eeh, I understand that growing up without a father, killed in a war, can be hard, but it just seemed that that was the entire driving force and inspiration for the song. It was clearly a 'waters'-driven album. And to think he had the guile to proclaim he was 'the face' of Pink Floyd..xD
